WE'D LIKE TO HEAR YOUR VIEWS ON WHAT OUR VILLAGE NEEDS!
The Parish Council would like to hear your ideas on what our village needs (within reason). We as a village have a sum of money to pay for repairs, new signs, benches etc and would like to know peoples views and ideas of what the Parish Council should spend this money on.
Please email your views to firstname.lastname@example.org by the 27th January 2014.
FURTHER INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPOSED RIPON WAY DEVELOPMENT.
The following was received by Carlton Miniott Parish Clerk, Clerk Gwyneth Howells.
"The physical development (layout, house types, access etc) remains unchanged. Instead, the Applicant has chosen to respond to the reasons for refusal by providing more information and justification. The Applicant has also submitted a ‘viability appraisal’ which seeks to justify a lower level of affordable housing. This is a change of position from their previous application which offered a policy compliant 40% affordable housing".
DOG BAN ON THE PLAYING FIELDS
The Parish Council wish to remind parishioners that there is a Bye-law in force banning dogs from the playing fields. Signs are in place to advertise this fact.
This means that all dog walkers should not exercise their dogs on the playing field or the childrens’ playing areas or any area bounded by the perimeter hedges.
The council took this popular decision to ensure that all users of those excellent facilities shall not become contaminated with dog dirt. We respectfully ask all dog owners to respect this bye law. Now, any person seeing dogs on the playing areas have the right to ask the person in charge of the dog to remove them immediately. The parish council trust that such requests will never be necessary .
