Carlton Miniott Post Office is a sub-office and general store. It is a very well stocked and friendly shop selling groceries, stationery, sweets and tobacco, also an off-licence. Among its specialities are fresh farm eggs and cuts of meat from a local farmer. One thing that should not be missed is their very tasty cooked ham, ideal for sandwiches, a salad or with a fried egg. There are two collections a day from the Post Office, midday and late afternoon except Saturday and Sunday. A delivery service is available if required.
